The entity responsible for processing your personal data is the legal entity GTA TELECOM DE MEXICO (hereinafter “GTA”), with the address to receive any type of notifications located at Carretera Monterrey Saltillo No. 7290, Interior C, Colonia Los Rodríguez, in the City of Saltillo, Coahuila, C.P. 25200.

The primary purpose for which GTA processes your personal data is to comply with the contractual obligations arising from an employment relationship or any service contract you enter into with GTA; any service related to the installation, operation, and supply of a telecommunications system and/or any other service that you voluntarily choose to acquire.

To fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice, it is necessary for GTA to process the following data, which will be handled with strict security and confidentiality:

  • Personal data: Identification and authentication data, contact data, property and/or financial data, tax data, demographic data, employment and academic data.
  • Sensitive personal data: Health data, data related to health status and physical conditions, biometric data (for the purpose of identifying and verifying your identity for any operation you perform with GTA).

In cases where GTA has a legal basis, it may obtain information about you through the following sources:

  • Personal data communications from companies affiliated with the telecommunications industry.
  • When third parties with whom GTA has commercial agreements provide information related to you, including credit reporting agencies.
  • When the information comes from public access sources.

The collection of information from the sources mentioned above helps to improve the fulfillment of contractual obligations and/or services you subscribe to with GTA.

The personal data described in this Privacy Notice is used for the following purposes:

  • To verify and confirm your identity according to our procedures and policies.
  • To comply with the obligation to cooperate with security and justice authorities as required by applicable regulations, as well as to comply with requests from competent authorities in legally prescribed cases.
  • To ensure compliance with all types of labor and/or commercial obligations.

It is your responsibility, as the owner of the personal data, to ensure that the data provided to GTA is correct and accurate, and to communicate any modifications to this data. Otherwise, we may not be able to properly fulfill our obligations, and therefore, GTA cannot assume any responsibility arising from the contractual or legal relationship that may be established or has been established with you.

GTA may transfer your personal data to both national and foreign entities without requiring your consent in the following cases:

  • Competent authorities and third parties in legally prescribed cases.
  • To the National Electoral Institute (INE) for the purpose of validating and authenticating your identity, as described in this Privacy Notice.
  • Credit reporting agencies, surety companies, and insurance companies to guarantee the fulfillment of obligations derived from the contractual or legal relationship we have established with you.
  • Telecommunications companies so that they may contact you, directly or indirectly, to carry out activities and/or services that these companies can market and/or provide jointly with GTA or independently.

The confidentiality obligation of GTA with the individuals (whether physical or legal persons) involved in the processing of your personal data persists even after the contractual or legal relationship with you has ended.

If deemed necessary, you are informed that you have the right to file any complaints related to the processing of your personal data by GTA with the National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information, and Protection of Personal Data (INAI).

You or your legal representative may exercise any of the rights of access, rectification, cancellation, or opposition, as well as revoke your consent for the processing of your personal data, by sending an email to GTA’s Human Resources department at rh@gtatelecom.com.mx, where you will be attended to in a timely manner.

GTA reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove parts of this Privacy Notice at any time. In such cases, GTA will maintain its updated Privacy

This Privacy Notice is based on the second paragraph of Article 16 of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States, the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and its Regulations, the Interior Regulations of the Ministry of Economy, and the “Guidelines for the Privacy Notice” published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on January 17, 2013.
